Looking for a good open cam for the Briggs animal

No.
I assumed you had a billet cam.
That limits the possibilities. Makes the billet cam seem like a lot better value though.
I am sure someone has made a multiple keyway cam gear for the animal. Horstman used to make one for the flathead.
I searched a little, but was unable to come up with one.
Anyone know of a adjustable crank gear for the animal/WF cranks?

There are no adjustable crank gears available that I know of.
However, Dyno has cams with adjustable gears. I have them and use them all the time.

You could try the 356.
No replacment for displacment though .
Flathead crank with corresponding rod and piston .
Thats not a drop in though .
Jimbos high compression piston may help , along with a cam change .
Flathead crank! Or the ARC billet crank. I will bet that most of your competition has a stroker. Make sure the carb is blueprinted for that setup!!!!
