lower / idle jet question

Did i read correct some wher that there are some , removing the O ring on the lower jet ? If so what els has to be done to make this work ?

Seems like I remember someone doing this to get more air into the restricted engines. Seems they damaged the threads to hold the needle in place. I don’t remember exactly.

Some carbs and engine combinations respond well to this but without a dyno or a way to monitor AFR, it's hard to say if it'll be the trick to for your combination. If you want to try it, all you have to do is pull the lower o ring off of the low speed jet and reinstall it. This will load the engine with fuel at idle so you'll need to turn the idle speed up. We like to idle ours around 2100 rpms. Good Luck!
