LRP 4th Annual Test-N-Tune Swap Meet Feb 16 & Feb 23

With weather permitting, we are planning to hold a 4th Annual TEST-N-Tune/Swap Meet on February 16 and February 23. Be sure to gather your new or used parts to sell and then practice to get your equipment in tune for the first race of the season. We plan to open the gates at 12:00 for you to set your tables for display or to just lay your goodies out to sell. Practice will start shortly after that. We hope it will be a good day to get out, sell your treasures, and make a few laps to get yourself ready for the 1st race of the season. The charge to get in will be $10 each. Remember, one person's trash could be another person's treasure.

These last couple days have been beautiful and taking advantage of these beautiful days only make good sense. Tommy has done a great job getting things ready for the TEST-N-TUNE on February 16 and 23. Looks good Tommy and I’m sure you’re like me, can’t wait to hear the hum of the karts again. Remember, this is not only practice but a swap shop also. It gives you the opportunity to sell some of your good used parts. Someone’s trash could be another person’s treasure so come on out and see what’s up for grabs!

We have had a lot of calls showing interest in practice and the swap meet we have at the beginning of every season. Due to the weather forecast we are sad to say it looks impossible to hold either. We will try to hold the Test-N-Tune the following weekend, February 23 if the weather permits. Be sure to watch Facebook or Bob’s 4-Cycle to see if there are any changes. We are looking so forward to starting back up but we would like to hold this practice for all the new racers. The weather is out of our hands so let’s look forward to the 23rd and see if we can’t get this Test-N-Tune in.

If the weather does not cooperate with us to hold practice on Saturday, we will try to hold it on Sunday. Just keep a watch on Facebook and Bob's 4-Cycle to keep updated on what is going on. We will try to make the announcement either way so you won't be guessing in plenty of time.

To all our LRP Family and to the ones coming this weekend for the first time, it is with much regret that we are canceling the Test ‘N Tune for this weekend. The weather is just not cooperating. The track is saturated and so are the pits. So, wax those karts, tune those engines, and get your equipment ready for the 1st race of the North Carolina Dirt Series of 2019 sponsored by Dyno Cams of March 2. Gates open at 9:00 and Practice starts at 12:00.

If you can, please go to our website and register for the classes you intend to run.
