Question what is that piece that looks stacked next to motor on chain/exhaust guard?
We'll, a bandaid. Ironically we bought a 2nd kart from Dave himself to avoid that god awful thing... Those are lead weights used to make our clone weigh same as our hemi predator with gas tank (per local rules) atop. When switching from predator to clone our cog was severely effected as the tank really made it handle differently.
Reduced scaling time dramatically and allowed for consistent weight transfer.
Short version- made dad's job way easier and gave kid a more consistent feeling kart
 
Ive seen some graphics sites that ask if you have a fiberglass or plastic body. Evidently there are different materials they can better work with for the tuff type bodies.
