Making floorboards

Had a rough night and tore half the floorboard off...feet were dragging the whole race which is a weird feeling haha.
Without a template, what's the best way to go about making a new floorboard.

that’s what I did laid chassis down “no tires” on cardboard and traced tubes out took that pattern and transferred it onto that thick plastic they sell for floorboards. Used an old road sign for the front porch cause I got weight up there.

Duh lol. Of course just trace the bottom out. Sorry it was a late dissapointing night at the track last night.
As far as materials go, fiberglass, plastic, metal, etc.....suggestions?

I bought this thick pliable plastic from our race car supply store. It worked perfect for floors. Now would I like to have the original fiberglass ones back..... yes! But for my karts they are no longer available

Run the floorboard to the outside of the frame.,
instead of just inside the frame.
Protects the bottom of the frame.
