Pick one of the thousands of preps out there and stick with it! Black Sand works real well on a Maxxis for dry, southern tracks and makes tons of bite

I don't know if there is a "best" way, but there are a lot of good ways. Each chassis, driver, engine/class application, specific set of tires, preps, amount used, cure time, etc all factor in.
Our Pink Panther internal along with our Black Bite 2.0 outside works very well with Maxxis on low bite tracks.
Also consider making some chassis adjustments if you are always running on this type of track. A little less left percentage, or raising the seat 1/2" can make a considerable change in sidebite.
