MD3 modified plastic nose

Has anyone ever tried running A MD3 modified nose on their kart with a wedge body? Does this help at all or is it just a style points add on?
Also, has anyone ever tried using a more so containment seat rather than the lay down plastic seats? Similar to a cage clone but on a non caged clone.

A handful of guys run them. I personally think they look terrible compared to a regular nose. Don’t run anything besides a normal seat, if you flip or catch the wall you’re far better off getting thrown out of the kart than staying in it. If you need more support PMI makes a shoulder rest that bolts onto a normal LTO seat, or you may find a used Wes Snow seat that are intended for open racing.
