We are travelling from Daytona to Lexington on Friday, about a thousand miles each way. This is our first time at the Mid-Ohio track so naturally we promise to stay out of everyone's way. I understand turn '5' is the one where we should be most careful going through. Good luck to all who are racing. Tips, pointers or suggestions are appreciated.
 
Headed up from georgia, too. My first trip. Hope we get to bike ride the track Thursday and check it out!
 
You should like the track. My favorite still since the mid 80's after running tracks all over the country. A good mix of turns, long straights, and up/down hills. To me it is the perfect track for a laydown kart. I'll be running both 2-cycle laydown and my Animal sprinter this weekend. Can't wait.
