1. What size are the bolt holes for the chain guard? They seem like 8mm x 1.25 but bolts do not go in easily and I don't want to mess up the threads. I tried a 5/16 and that was worse. They are not speced in the B&S documents on-line.
2. The header brace sits on a boss. The header brace has a hole and the engine boss has a hole but it is not taped. Do you guys tap the hole or just let the header brace rest there? It really looks like it needs to be bolted down.
FYI - I am mounting this on a Top Kart chassis and it has been an experience.
