Anyone have any idea on front gearing at Mountain Creek Speedway, Catawba, NC, LO206, flat kart?

He will be running junior lite/blue, he is 8.

We run 14/59-62 in gold, adults run 14/59, if he is brand new I would start him with a 13/59-62 or 14/62-65, the more gear he can recover faster if there a mistake in the corners, the smoother he gets the more you can drop back and give him top end speed, you want to watch corner rpm vs straighway, keep it 5-700 rpm

Any idea on the lap times that junior lite is normally running or if not what the gold class typically runs on lap times?

13.115 was the best lap in the main for the winner last race, look up race monitors on your phone apps, download it, go to search and type creek, it will bring up all the races for this year

There are 15mins down the road in all direction pretty much, come on out it’s a great time, next race is 12/19
