Mounting a bully on an animal

New to animals. What does everyone use to mount a bully on an animal and shim it so the clutch doesn't hit the crank case?

There is a small, chamfered spacer that goes on before the clutch but even without it should never be able to hit the side cover. Are you mounting it outboard with the gear facing out toward the seat?

Does BMI or one of the other places carry the spacer? The sprocket goes on the side of the crank case correct?

So from looking at the expanded view it looks like 9a is the part but looks flat and the crank shaft on an animal has a shoulder

Mount the clutch with the sprocket inboard and the clutch will not hit the side cover.
Use just about any washer on the crank before sliding the clutch on.
