Anyone ever run a muffle on a loop pipe with the flared end? If I cut a muffle at the taper so it matches the flared end of the trumpet and tack it on, will I negate the benefits of the loop pipe?
We've won a feature with a loop pipe and a muffler clamped on it. Better check about tacking it on as I don't believe you're allowed to do that; unless it's an open class or not many rules.
Does it make that much of a difference running a loop pipe than a 45° bent pipe with no muffler? Running on 1/4 mile track wide open entire time and drafting
