My current 4 cycle options, suggestions?

I am sure I might give you guys a good laugh with my newbie question but here goes. I am currently looking at a 2010 Intrepid Pro set up with a chonda or a mid 2000's BRM chonda set up. Not a lot to pick from in my location in Texas ( up in the panhandle). Secondly, Any thoughts on which pedal setup would best accommodate my boots! A lot of good advice from my last post much appreciated!!
 
I would pick the engine that would allow me to race in the class that fields the most entrants. As for your boots: stirrups. :)
 
pedals only come into play twice.
once at the beginning and once at the end.
I would guess the 2010 model.
