Mychron 4 lap time failure

can anyone explain to me why it stopped working all
of a sudden or what to do to get it back to working? thanks

What style IR receiver do you have. The larger, triangular style ones easily come unplugged internally. Take the four screws out and make sure it is plugged in to the circuit board. NOT the Mychron unit, do this to the IR receiver.

Have you removed it from the kart recently? If so make sure that the small indentation in the lap receiver connector is pointing straight up to the 12 oclock position. Sometimes they can be plugged in a pin off. Is your battery good and not low?

i ran practise and heats and then come feature time it was reading nothing. raced this past weekend and nothing read. i inplug it from the kart when i clean it but it always gets hooked back up the same as always. battery is good. i dont have the big triangle beacon i have the smaller one
