I put a longer connecting rod in my hemi head and the piston comes to the top of the cylinder... I had a stock gasket on it and the exhaust valve was smacking top of piston. How thick of a gasket should I use
You need .035 clearance between the piston and the head.The exhaust valve is a different problem . The piston needs to be cut for clearance, .040 would be the minimum ,should have more.
