New 206 rules for Ikf.

Did any one get a chance to review the new IKF 206 rules for 2017 ? Rules were posted in the official November Board meeting minutes .

I do not see the November minutes posted and see nothing in the rule updates. Typically, IKF and WKA have worked with and followed the Briggs published rule sets. What kind of * are you trying to stir now?

Briggs rules have yet to be posted on the 206 package, thinking they'll be released soon. Sanctioning bodies have reviewed potential updates, normally 2017 rule books are at the printer now.

You must be out of the loop maybe your not an IKF Member .

Talking about the seal issue? If true, sounds like LO206 engines bought before 2015 may be obsolete!

It was clarified today there will be no changes in the old seal rules all are still approved .

Good news. I was hoping it was just a misunderstanding. Would have been a lot of unhappy 206 owners!

I would think someone who got two or three years out of a bottom end before having to upgrade / freshen would be ecstatic.
