if any karters are interested, we have been doing a Sunday afternoon program, with occasional Friday night races, for flat-track bikes at Airport Speedway in New Castle, DE and would like to add some karting classes.
currently there is one kart class for open karts running stock predator 6.5 motors.
per their rules "You can run any jet, any exhaust, and any air cleaner, that's it"
Anybody that comes can race in their own program.. open predator motors can join the other class but would be scored separately.
the track is an 1/8th mile banked clay oval and is prepped to be hard and smooth for the flat-track bikes.
the current kart class gets around pretty well so it'd be interested to see how some faster karts do

we're looking for open karts, champ karts, winged karts, and eventually would like to have an outlaw kart class that would run through corners one and two and through the infield creating a tight d shaped track so the power of your motor needs to be controlled, which should make for some interesting races.
pit passes/payout can be discussed prior to the event. if you have a group of 3 or more karts we'll work out something with your best interest in mind.
hopefully you guys can make it out sometime this year!
up-coming schedule:
Sunday July 12th - gates open at noon
Sunday August 23rd - gates open at noon
Friday September 18th - gates open at 6pm
Sunday September 27th - gates open at noon
these are the planned dates but there may be more shows in-between
grandstand admission is free and currently only racers pay to get into the pits/race
there are bathrooms and a concession stand on site
we have a great facility!
