Should you grind a new set of tires before prepping? Racing on coke syrup

I would not grind them . I might surface them lightly .
New and uncut even just wipe with acrysol first .

I had the thoght wheres coke syrup this time of year .
Forgot about the hog barn .
They using coke syrup now or still brake fluid ?

We got pretty aggressive with the flap wheel to shape 33's till we got a cutter .
Still used it some to clean up the goat krug creo concoctions .

Hog barn was still brake fluid last time we were there. Before Covid I think

Hog barn didn't have any shows this year. But yea brake fluid and resin still.

Yes, refinish them. But, I wouldn't take new tires syrup racing (especially Burris.) Thin and flat, older date code stuff, especially once it starts to bite up good.
