I’m not sure about your mixture screw but it is probably an air bleed screw, not a fuel screw. Next time you take it apart spray some carb cleaner through it and see where it comes out. If it comes out of a hole in the air horn it’s an air bleed. If it comes out through a jet inside the bowl, fuel.
