Ordered a Stinger clutch with blue springs but they were apparently out of stock. It showed up with what I can only think is orange springs though they look more brown in person. Hoping somebody that actually has experience with the springs can help because I'm very new to this.
The spring chart that comes with the clutch doesn't list brown as an option which is why I was thinking maybe they're orange. The instructions show that yellows are stock but they certainly don't look yellow.
Those are orange springs.
You should be able to get blue -- but is that what you need for your application?
As Mike said, those orange springs will be pretty low engagement compared to what you are asking for.
It is for box stock Predator and from what I understand, those would be appropriate. Is that not the case? Blues were 2700-2900 (one step lower than orange).
Edit: the instruction set stated it shipped with yellow.
^ There you go. Orange will work fine for your engine.
If this were for a clone, flathead, or animal, you'd been way too low.
Bolt'er on and run it as is!
