The biggest karting weekend in New York State returns on October 17-18 with Octoberfest III at The Port. Thousands of dollars in PRO prize money, along with track championships, will be on the line across two full days of racing action.

Full points events on Saturday, October 17 will be capped off with a $1,000 to win PRO Clone 360 Prelim Main, the $500 to win Burris Racing Tire NYS Clone Invitational and a $300 to win PRO Blue Clone main.

Sunday, October 18 will see another full round of points racing finished with the $2,000 PRO Clone 360 Octoberfest III Main Event, as well as a $500 PRO Clone Super Heavy final and a $500 to win special for PRO Jr. Unrestricted.

Payouts for Octoberfest Weekend at Weedsport are indicated below:

POINTS CLASSES:
- ALL classes at Octoberfest will receive a cash payout on both days of action (October 17-18)!
The Top 3 finishers in all points classes will receive a Top 3 payout with 10 karts or more. Divisions with 4-9 entries, will have a payout for the Top 2.
Divisions with 14 entries or more will earn $100 to win - on a $40 pre-entry fee.

SATURDAY:
- The Burris Racing Tire NYS Clone Invitational will post a GUARANTEED payout to the Top 7 drivers on Saturday, October 17, with $500 going to the winner!

A full field purse of 20 karts will pay:
1st - $500, 2nd - $250, 3rd - $150, 4th - $100, 5th - $60, 6th - $50, 7th - $50

The event will have a $60 pre-entry fee and you do not have to run a points class to compete! Thanks again to Burris Racing Tire.

- PRO Blue Clone will join the list of PRO divisions on the first day of Octoberfest (Saturday, October 17) paying a GUARANTEED purse to the Top 3 drivers, with $300 going to the winner - however a full field of 15 karts will pay the Top 7!

A full field of 15-karts will pay:
1st - $300, 2nd - $150, 3rd - $100, 4th - $100, 5th - $60, 6th - $50, 7th - $50

This event will carry a $50 pre-entry fee. Drivers must also run (1) points class.

- The third PRO event on Day 1 of Octoberfest (Saturday, October 17) will be the $1,000 to win PRO Clone 360 prelim main. This event will pay a GUARANTEED purse to the Top 10 drivers (16 karts or more) with $1,000 and a guaranteed Sunday starting spot going to the winner.

25-kart minimum payout will be:
1st - $1,000, 2nd - $430, 3rd - $310, 4th - $210, 5th - $180, 6th - $90, 7th - $75, 8th - $65, 9th-10th - $55

This event will carry a $65 pre-entry fee. Drivers must run (1) points class.

SUNDAY:
- Sunday of Octoberfest (October 18) will feature a $500 to win Jr. Unrestricted main, which will GUARANTEE pay to the Top 3 drivers.
The race will hold a $60 pre-entry fee and drivers must also compete in (1) points class.

- PRO Clone Super Heavy will return on the Sunday of Octoberfest, with a $500 to win main event, GUARANTEEING pay to the Top 3 finishers.

Should the field hit 20, the Top 7 will be paid!

This race will have a $60 pre-entry fee and drivers must compete in (1) points class.

- For the third consecutive year, Octoberfest Weekend will conclude with the Octoberfest 40 paying a GUARANTEED $2,000 to win! This year's event will be a PRO Clone 360 special, paying the Top 10 finishers (with 16 karts or more).

One question that has come up on social media... Saturday's show has no bearing on Sunday's show - they are separate events. If you can only make it for one day of competition - that is fine!

WEEDSPORT, NY (October 13, 2020) – Weedsport Kartway will round out its 2020 season on October 17-18 with Octoberfest III at The Short Port.

The two-day event will feature the final two point events of the season along with a total of six PRO events spread across two days of action.

Saturday’s action will be highlighted with eight point paying main events for Jr. Red Clone, Jr. Green Clone, Jr. Purple Clone, Jr. Blue Clone, Jr. Unrestricted, Clone Light, Clone Heavy and Clone Super Heavy. The afternoon will finish with a $300 to win PRO Blue Clone special, a $1,000 to win PRO Clone 360 main and the $500 to win Burris Racing Tire New York State Clone Invitational.

Sunday’s format will see all eight point classes finish their season capped off with a $500 to win PRO Jr. Unrestricted feature, a $500 to win PRO Clone Super Heavy main and the $2,000 to win PRO Clone 360 Octoberfest 40 special.

Current championship point leaders include Levi Herriven (Jr. Red Clone), Ayden Silvernail (Jr. Green Clone), Parker Allen (Jr. Purple Clone), Seth Whitney (Jr. Blue Clone), Logan Crisafulli (Jr. Unrestricted), Thomas Montgomery (Clone Light), Richard Murtaugh (Clone Heavy) and Nick McGill (Clone Super Heavy).

Pre-Registration for both days of racing is available under the TICKETS tab at www.weedsportspeedway.com. Those that Pre-Register will save $10 on entry fees. Junior drivers that have not already done so in 2020, must submit proof of age to info@weedsportspeedway.com.

Single or two-day pit passes will be available at the Kartway’s main pit window.

Member driver pit admission is $15 (two-day $25), with Non-Member driver pit admission priced at $20 (two-day $35). Non-Driver pit prices are $25 (two-day $45). No spectators will be permitted for this event.

Weedsport Kartway will follow CDC guidelines and recommendations, including social distancing. Face coverings are required when unable to maintain six feet of social distance.

Upon arrival, temperatures will be taken prior to pit passes being purchased.

Concession stands will be open with a limited menu.

All classes follow AKRA clone engine guidelines. Burris 33a tires are mandatory. Those competing in the NYS Clone Invitational must run the same set of tires in qualifying and racing action.

Fuel must be purchased from the Pit Stop Convenience Store located at 2737 Erie Dr. in Weedsport.

AMB transponders are mandatory to be scored with Raceceiver one-way radios also mandatory.

Pit gates are scheduled to open both days at 8:30 a.m. with practice slated for 11 a.m. and time trials to follow.

In order to receive points, drivers must be a Weedsport Kartway Member. Membership can be purchased online through the Tickets tab at www.weedsportspeedway.com.

REMINDER: Saturday action this weekend has no bearing on competition Sunday, other than than the $1,000 PRO Clone 360 winner on Saturday will be a guaranteed starter for Sunday's 2K event. ALSO - by virtue of his $1,000 Border Battle win at Can-Am, Dan Marsden will start no worse than 7th in Sunday's 2K main, while Tyler Stevenson (2nd at Can-Am) will start no worse than 7th in Saturday's 1K main.

Two Weedsport provisionals will be added to Saturday and Sunday's PRO Clone 360 mains. The highest driver in Clone Light points and the highest driver in Clone Heavy points that do not qualify will be added to the field. Provisional starters must have started the B-Main.

As always - Raceceivers and transponders are mandatory at Weedsport Kartway. We will have a limited number of transponders available for rent, so if you have your own please bring it or be prepared to buddy up, if need be. Rentals will be $10 per day.

REMINDER: if you do not pre-register, you MUST come to the scoring tower with your registration paperwork so we can enter you into the system.
 
For those new to Weedsport Kartway - pit access for the Kart track is off of Towpath Rd., as indicated on the map below. The facilities main entrance is only to be used for camping purposes. Campers are permitted on site Friday at 9 a.m.

Pit parking will open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning (first come, first serve). Haulers will be permitted to stay inside of the pit area over night Saturday into Sunday.

ALL Junior drivers will run a main event at Weedsport Kartway in points paying divisions. Should we have enough entries, we will run split format features - with quick time starting on pole position in Feature #1 and second quick time starting on pole position in Feature #2. In this instance - half-points will be paid for feature finishes. We will announce in the driver's meeting if we will be utilizing this format for any classes.
