Old data lost on Bob's

Is there any way to reconstruct the old corrupted data?This site was/is a gold mine of information. I would be more than willing to chip in dollars, if there is some way to reconstruct the old data. I think there are many others that would also contribute.

Thoughts???
 
Bob is working on getting the corrupted hard drive fixed..just alot of $ he has to throw at it he said in another thread. Time will tell all.
 
A lot depends on what is wrong with the hard drive and/or back up, and that won't be known until a computer expert looks at it. A computer forensics professional may be able to pull usable data from the saved files, or the drive could be mechanically dead with no hope of recovery. Keep your fingers crossed.
