R racer Member Sep 20, 2022 #1 I just got a couple older world formula engines and the coils look more like flathead coils. Was there a change along the way? Red potting and black potting.

9 95 shaw Site Supporter Sep 20, 2022 #2 Originally wf had an external rev limiter, I believe. Plugged onto the old coils. I had the part number at one time. Also, the standard briggs industrial engine coil will bolt right on. different flywheel required. Edit 557000 is the part number. Last edited: Sep 20, 2022
