Hi, we will be moving from Kid kart to Junior restricted next season. I am starting to research now so I know what to keep an eye out for this winter. We mostly a small bull ring with descent grip and banking, Or at a 1/5 mile high banked very fast track. The 1/5 mile has a Burris tire rule. My son is small and about 50 pounds So we will need to ad alot of ballast, if that matters. So far I have been looking at: Prodigy Cadet, Rival small tube, Triton Jr.

What are your Guy's opinions or experiences with these Karts for small restrictor class? Any other advice or Karts I should consider?

Jr drivers is all about the right foot. We beat brand new chassis's and motors on a old 2003 mellinum tempest weekly.

Agree, my son has been on an old 90’s non adjustable with no setup at all, a newer prowler and tested another kids well setup triton jr. was fastest on the oldest least “setup” kart, I assume because, that’s the one he was most comfortable on.
