Looking for carburetor advice. Building a QRC with a 450. They use a double cable carburetor. Wondering if there is a way I can put a single cable pit bike style carb on there? If so what do I have to look for as far as air flow and jetting options. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks

Why not just add a spring too close the carb . Thats all the twin cables do .

How’s that work? New to it. Also thinking of size of original ones.

Clock spring , field engineering with a standard extension spring .

Figure out which way is open and closed . Drill a hole in the bell crank hook the spring there then find or build an anchor point for the spring .
Possibly use the unused cable hole .
