Paint Block

Anybody ever painted a block? Maybe help build up some heat in the cold months.

Paint or powder coat .
Mostly for apperance .
not to build heat .

I expect the opposite could be obtained as well.

We played some with thick coats of regular paint on fins on methanol flathead, the theory being more heat
more fuel completely burned, more power.

I know some quick change rear ends have heat expelling coatings


Just some thoughts.

Now i am wondering about my Green metal roof .
In reality . Wouldn't you want the heat in the combustion chamber and no where else .

A back yard builder who used to price gouge painted one of my blocks when I first started. Looked great until it got sprayed with oil lol

Carb cleaner does a number on paint also .
