Tyler Walker dominates for first victory of the season at Paradise Speedway
Paradise Speedway, Geneva, NY- When Tyler Walker pulled in the gate he knew he had a shot to win. As one of 23 cars he would have to race hard against the consistent front runners of Brandyn Griffin, Bill Coffey, John Smith, Mike Austin and Eric Wise.
The 23 cars were split into 3 heats and the top 3 of each would redraw for feature starting positions. Mike Austin and Dan Naegele would lead the field to the green flag for their 20 lap feature. After a lap one caution for a spun car between turns 3 and 4 the field would regroup to have another go at a smooth start. On lap 3 Walker used his momentum to pass race leader Mike Austin on the outside coming off turn two and never looked back. Walker's only challenge came after a lap 19 caution. On the restart John Smith threw everything he had at him but just couldn't stay with Walker.
The Clone Lite division put on a great side by side battle for the lead for the last three laps of their feature. After it was all said and done Jason Moll would claim his first win of the season followed by Tim Lotz and Dean Furguson.
In the Jr Kart divisions all three winners had great nights with James Donaldson, Cole Dresser, and Joshua Peters claiming victories in their respective divisions.
Our 600 Amateur division saw two rookie 600 drivers do battle for the race win. Terry Griffin would be victorious in his first race ever in a Micro Sprint.
