Could be them little tabs.Small block?
May be parts of the CR. Easy enough to see if you pull the cam.
What did it turn out too be ?Changed the oil in my clone and found some very small steel parts in there. Is this from the compression release? And if so, can I just remove the compression release all together? I run an electric starter anyway. The cam is a Dyno 310-224.

That's what I was thinking, many times they just disconnect the gov. And leave part of it in, instead of removing it all and plugging the hole for the pin.One almost looks like the end of the governor arm.
