Pedal extender and riser help

I’m trying to convert a kart over for my 8 year old son, I’m having a problem on how to move the pedals back and have enough clearance from his foot over the tire rods and torsion bar. Any advice from someone who has done it before? I will attach a few pictures for reference. Also should I get a smaller seat to help move him forward a little bit?

Typically you use a kit with the need parts .
Generally it has a 2 box like pieces that raise and support the heels .
May have to learn to live with the tie rods . Pedal extensions as well .
Search pedal extenders/ extensions
With the search function in the top right .

Yes I know…..what kits have worked the best?

PMI karting makes an excellent kit for moving the pedals back and up. I've used it on several karts for young drivers.
