How much clearance do you need. I here .030 all the time and was shooting for that. Ended up with .024 will this be enough? I'm using a .042 copper head gasket. This is a mod motor I'm hoping to turn it 8500-9000 rpms.

The Kid sprint class uses the WF engine and you are allowed to have .035" pop up using the stock head gasket with a compressed thickness of about .045' and it seems to work OK.
