What is the range for (good to acceptable) piston to wall clearance? Getting ready to replace rings again and I've honed this block a few times and wanted to know what range I should be looking for.

Minimum of .003, max of .0055 IMO

Agree, every engine is different. Best to say anywhere from .002 to .010 depending on your motor. Some cylenders may not be true from the factory and require different clearances after trueing up the bore
