Powder Coating

I hav done several and found that if u use paint stripper get some that removes EPOXY brush it on and let it go to work.. Take a high speed drill with a small stiff wire wheel about a 2" to get in the tight areas you will be surprised how quick it comes off kinda messy but I don't think it's as bad as having sand in every crack of your body... Now if you hav some small parts buy some carb cleaner the stuff the old timers soak them in before they rebuilt them I have a aluminum tube put 2 gallons in it and drop a wheel that was coated and about 10 minutes it comes of in a big blob after I done both procedures wash it off with water and put it in the oven and get it hot and clean it up and powder coat it again good luck.....

Best way to remove powder coat from chromoly is to have it media blasted with either plastic beads or walnut shells. Sand is a no-no.
