PRE engine

Has anyone ever heard of PRE engines..? I picked up a motor that has PP1003 stamped in the block..

I know of two different builders that used that title both in midwest. Plotner racing engines and purdue racing engines. I believe both moved on from karting but if you got side cover pic i can send it to them and see if its either guys motor

Thanks for the reply but I sold the motor seeing no one ever herd of them. I did see signs of purple paint under the repainted tank..
