Predator 212 Throttle linkeage.

How do u know where to adjust this rod on a predator 212?

Im gonna say when the hand control is at full throttle the butterfly should be also .

Its on a kart. So i need to take aircleaner housing off to see where the butterfly is at

Can't tell for sure if thats a cable or rod .
Either way i looked at mine , yea where ever it gets ya full throttle and still closes . Should be some slack as well especially if cable , for flex and such , don't want a runaway situation .
It doesn't move much your probably alright . Double check never hurts .

If you take the air cleaner off then use a number of 1/4 inch flat washers as spacers so you can tighten the carb again, you can easily see what you need to do when working on linkage.

Use them as spacers and bolt card back while adjusting linkeage correct

This is what I use. Seems to work ok.

I ended up with a new Hemi. Left the governor on. Have it adjusted for 5400 on the stand. All I did was tie wrapped the governor arm spring.
