Predator 212 with stock carb.

Eliminated the gas tank installed pulsating pump. What is the best place to get a good pulse? I have it going to my head cover but not enough for pulsating. Any thoughts?

That's where we run them with no problems. My sure you have it in the correct place on the fuel pump.

For some reason can't get it to pulsate correctly, getting no fuel.

In order to get a proper pulse signal for the fuel pump the fitting must be installed below the baffle plate in the valve cover ... if it is above the baffle plate there will not be sufficient pulse to operate the pump.

Have a look here. It gives a pretty good description. Maybe a little farther to the left than shown, when looking at the motor, to keep your pulse line and spark plug wire from having a fight.
