Predator 212 won't turn off

I have a built hemi predator 212 that runs awesome, but it won't turn off with the switch and disconnecting the wires doesn't turn it off either, the only way I'm able to get it shut down is by turning the fuel off and choke on to starve it. Has anyone had this happen before or have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks in advance!
 
You should have a wire from the coil to the switch and a ground wire from the switch to the block. If you have those two things and it won't shut off, then I'd say you have a bad switch.
 
Okay yes I have those two wire, and that's all I could think of, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something else, thank you.
 
It has the factory ground hooked up to the engine between block and blower cover. but now that you say that I think I will try and add another ground and see if that makes a difference while I'm waiting for the new switch anyway. Thanks
