Predator coil on Briggs engine?

Hello,
I have heard a rumour that I can fit the electronic coil from a predator engine (part # 69730) to a Briggs 5hp horizontal and get a cheap electronic ignition conversion.
Anyone know if this is true?

unless you have points it is already electronic .
Probably could not sure it would be cheap or easy .

Why not just replace it with the replacement Briggs coil?
Bolts right up, and if you want, you can plug up the points plunger hole as well so no more oil seepage from the flywheels side.
We stock them if you need. Give us a call.

The magnatron coil would be my choice .
there was at one time a electronic conversion part .
likely pretty hard to find now .
The coil would be so much simpler .

Funny I just got engine with points and a 4 bolt coil .
I think from the 60's . I may have to convert .strange carb too .

That's a nice option, I wonder where the trigger position is?
From what I gather the trigger is the forward leg on the coil, if the coil is put on reversed it will not run. there' a couple of videos on youtube , this one shows all three options and part numbers , control module , conversion kit, magnatron coil which all are available aftermarkit I'm thinking judging by the prices.
