Predator fuel line/tank

I have the predator 212cc, just upgraded the carb on it - should I change the fitting in the tank to 1/4" or should I just adapter the 3/16 to 1/4 on the fuel line?

You can cut alittle bit about 3/8" of the 3/16 line and stuff it into the 1/4 line then just put it back on the carb. Or you can go to a store and buy a fuel filter that goes from 1/4 to 3/16.

The line size, whether 3/16 or 1/2 inch won't get fuel thru the tiny opening in the fuel inlet tube sticking out of the carb any faster.
