Press fit kingpin bearing replacement

Spindle in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes, and bearings in the freezer for an hour. Bearing should probably slip right in, and if you need to persuade it a bit, press it in with your bench vise. Make sure you're wearing Mom's oven mitts when handling the spindle.

Thanks for the tip, but I used the threaded rod method and I don't think there could be a better/easier way. I had the old bearings out and replaced in under 10 minutes. Thanks for the idea flattop1.

glad it worked for you.
I had thought this morning about the vise and c clamp.
c clamps do not usually apply pressure straight though.
