Like title say rules state all stock out of box and have to keep governer so which motor is better on the 5500 rpm governer rule hemi or non hemi

You have to adjust or modify the govenor settings otherwise you will be locked down at 3800 factory setting.

Use the search box and search...the info you are looking for is right in front of you. There is actually another post asking the same thing really close to your post

The Hemi does not make as much power on the dyno, about 2 tenths less. I attribute this to the very heavy valve train on the Hemi.

They run this same class here in NC... The Hemi is the dominate engine straight out of the box.. The rule is they allow a MAX of 5500 rpm's checking it on the stand or wheels off the ground.. The govenor adjusting screw can be adjusted to reach approx 5000 rpm's... BUT on the track they run best at approx 4400-4600 rpm's... Its funny that many have played outside the rules on this spec class,, in most cases unsuccessfully...
Its momentum racing at its best,, tires is what wins these races like most others being run.

If one were to buy a Predator from Harbor Freight, how do you know whether you are getting the hemi or not. Is there a delineation with the part number. I notice they have two part numbers for non-California motors and a third for epa/carb all 48 contiguous states. Explain someone. Thanks.
