Question

This is probably a dumb question to lots, but what are the 2 Allen head screws on top of the bearing for?

Possibly an adjustable weight jacker cassette to raise or lower that corner of the kart to adjust your cross weight.

^^^ my initial thought as well , though i do not see any slots or space for adjustment or a separation line .
Possibly a way to keep the bearing in the pocket . Without seeing the opposite side. Hard to guess .
The washers do look eccentric , or pill like , lead, lag , cross adjustment maybe .

The way they're both lined up over the bolts, the bearing block must have minute slots.

That’s what I’m hoping for. Going to play around with them tonight. This damn kart is dragging on the ground lol

Thing is about 30 years old, whatever theyre hiding isnt a secret lol

They're axle height adjusters.
Saw these many moons ago on some karts.
You need to loosen the cassette bolts slightly to move the adjuster bolts down, then retighten the 3 bolts.

Take the nuts off of the cassette bolts and you're likely to see the slots.
