I wonder, how many racers on here know what their VCG is? I’m quessing very few! Question is why?

Does anyone even know how to get it?

8.5 vcg vs 9.0 vcg. What’s the difference?

Then let’s look at your overall cg. Anyone know that number? Most likely not!

You see, these numbers are very important in understanding your karts handling. Don’t know them? You are in no man’s land!

At 6-1 195Lbs I know there's nothing I can do except get it down as low as I can so, no need to know it or measure it because it's always gonn'a be too high.

But knowing it can help in finding your optimal handling. What if you have to change seats, the newer seat has 1” more VCG on the same chassis? How do you compensate for it? Especially if you don’t know it.

Just saying, in karting everything matters.

Just for devil's advocate here, what's the simplest way for the average karter to calculate their VCG. Because I'm sure most don't even know how to calculate it.

I used 10” riser blocks. In case anyone wanted to know.
