The GOAT Series has become karting’s biggest series and we are very EXCITED to announce the plans for the 2020 GOAT Series including adding a The HOOLIGAN Class (Jr4) and a Hobby #350 to the lineup (see below for more details)
The HOOLIGAN Class (Jr4): Having a legitimate stepping stone for the Jr3 drivers has been an issue for many years. So, we have decided to add a class that will do just that. We have added the Jr4 class for the sole purpose of giving younger drivers a class they can continue to grow and develop skills without having to compete against some very seasoned drivers. The rules will be any driver between the ages of 14-17 can compete in this class. This will be an unrestricted Clone engine, big pipe and the weight will be #325
**All Jr drivers including Red Plate driver MUST bring a copy of their birth certificates to registration. We will keep the copy on file so you will only have to bring it one time.
The GOAT Series proved to produce some very exciting races and we visited some fantastic facilities and the competition was fierce. We were looking towards the last race as the points in several classes were razor thin. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and we were not able to complete all 6 points races.
No other Kart Series can even come close to our yearend awards! We don’t like finishing 2nd to no one and we will give back to the Karter’s that support us.
For many years, the norm in Points Series across the country in Karting has been, you run 5 or 6 races and if you are lucky enough to win, you receive a leather jacket. Well, we have decided to change that up a little bit. We will be offering over $20,000 in cash and prizes. See below for more details on the prizes we are offering.
The GOAT Series: At the end of the 2020 Goat Series, we will crown a GOAT (Greatest of all time) in each point’s class. The driver will go down in the history books as the GOAT of that class for 2020. Do you have what it takes?
We will have a total of 5 points races during the 2020 season with one drop. Each driver that competes in all 5 races will receive 5 bonus points. See below for points that will be awarded weekly. WE WILL not be adding kart counts to the points this year.

It takes 2 karts to race and 4 karts to make a class. Any class following below 4 karts will receive 100% payback (except Red Plates).
***All Money Classes are 1/3 the Field Payback. Meaning for every 3 karts, we pay a position up to 5 spots except Points Classes. Points Classes pay up to 3 spots.

Hobby Engine Rules (AKA: Predator)
-Must run a 20 or 21-tooth Clutch Gear
-The engine must be ran out of the box
-Open Clutch
-The governor must be connected and operational
-The air filter and sock must be installed per factory
-The engine must have a key way as installed by factory of the flywheel
-The engine must pass a governor test on the stand if asked *5500
-You may vent the gas cap and/or disconnect vent tube
-You may disconnect throttle stop screw
-You must run the factory gas tank
-Chain guard, heat shield and throttle linkage are the only aftermarket parts allowed.
-You can disconnect oil sensor wire and tape it.
-You can run a Ducar and a Tillotson 212cc (no weight penalty). Engine must be factory rated 212cc and run in box stock configuration. ARC and PVL flywheels are allowed. All other above rules apply.
Engine claim rule of $175. Any competitor may claim any engine finishing in front of them. In order to file an engine claim: A competitor must complete the race. Engine may be claimed only at the completion of the main event. Claim must be filed by the driver of the kart before the last kart clears the scales upon completion of the race. The driver must verbally inform Tech you want to claim an engine. In the event an engine is claimed by more than one competitor, the competitor in the highest finishing position will have priority. Once a verbal claim has been filed the claim cannot be withdrawn without forfeiture of any submitted fees and disqualification of the competitor who withdrew. Claimed engine will be marked and allowed to compete in any remaining main events registered. Engine is to be claimed as raced minus Chain guard/Heatshield, Clutch and throttle kit. Claimed engines are subject to comply with the above listed rules. If engine is found to be legal based on the above rules, the claimer will receive $175 and all winnings. If engine is found illegal based on above listed rules, the claimee will forfeit the win and the claimer will have the option to take the engine or receive his $175 claim money back.
