Race tracks and general question

I live in NW Indiana. Looking for tracks within 3 hr radius of me.
I know of Jackson speedway


Also my kart is set up for dirt 1/6 track. Is it easy to convert these karta over to run on asphalt or should I get a second kart and just set it up for asphalt. I've always been on dirt....

2 karts would depend on how much your running both surfaces. Your not converting much, possibly a rear axle if your on a flat kart and setups are not really that far off. If you have all the setup tools on hand its fairly easy to scale out and go racing.

You run a thick wall axle in your phenom on asphalt ? We’ve always ran and still do run thin walls with standard dirt spindles, no 5* stuff.

Yeah all I ever did was just swap spindles but I do very little asphalt it's mainly dirt so I didn't see a point to getting a thin axle. Just found other ways to free it up. I know thin wall is the go to for running asphalt I just never did.

Gotcha, I always thought about trying a thick axle but never did.
