Racing Near Jacksonville

I have a friend with a Junior 1 or Junior 2 driver who may be relocating to the Jacksonville Florida area. Was hoping someone could give us some insight on the racing in that region as far as whats available, best tracks or series etc. Thanks in advance.
 
Callahan speedway just reopened just north of jax, crossroads motorplex bout 45ish minutes west, and volusia near daytona, the 3 closest dirt tracks
 
Thanks for the replies. Most experience has been on dirt oval but willing to adapt to what the area has to offer.
 
I went past Maxville in January and looked as if it was being kept up, enough so that it had the appearance of some rubber laid down. (??). Maybe contact the North Florida Kart Club and get better answers as to where and scheduling.
 
That's interesting^^^. I googled the track and called the phone number and the guy said it had been closed but wished someone would buy it and reopen.
