Sounds a lot like Daytona...LOL

Gravel is bad news -- especially when it hits your face shield, knuckles, plastic brake line, air filters, etc etc etc.
Try to secure some clay and get the neighbor kids to pick rocks in exchange for some seat time.

Thanks,

You in the states ?
Went to a dirt sprint car race , around Poughkeepsie NY .
That track had the most round rock in it I ever have seen .
If you can get it packed good where the gravel stays in place .
Likely be hard on tires .

We ran a track in South Dakota with the WoO that was FULL of rocks (big ones.) Most of the drivers protested and refused to race, while the promoter promised that once we started running heat races, that the rocks would "lay down" and the track seal over.
Sounded like a typical track promoter, but you know what? He was right.
We ran that night and had no more issues. SO yes, it is possible. :)
