Raptor cam in older flathead

I see that the Raptor uses a # D-07-3 cam. I'm not sure what its specs are and am wondering if would fit into an older 5 Hp motor from the late 70's. I have tried looking for cam specs for the original and the above mentioned cam but failed. If the Raptor cam would physically fit, would it provide a performance boost? Torque, Horsepower or higher RPM. I have seen them for sale for less than half the price of aftermarket cams. $60 range. Also the D-94-SS cam. Any specs on this?

Be careful getting caught up in numbers . A 07-3 is typically a dyno cams grind .
The briggs raptor cam several ways first a complete engine then as a kit .
I don't believe it ever cam stock from the factory with a dyno cams cam .
That particular grind is a slapper cam . Which I do not think you want for a general all around build .
The 94ss or 89-7 would be better . Dyno cams has all the specs on the web site.

I was looking forward to the answer- Does the standard raptor cam offer a performance boost over the generic Briggs 5hp cam?

I guess I got confused by the site I saw it on. It was a site selling cams and just listed those two as being for the raptor. I assumed they were stock briggs cam #'s. I googled slapper cams but all I got was porn sites so I I don't know what that term means in relation to a camshaft, LOL. Will the Raptor cam exchange with the earlier motors and what would the performance difference be? More torque, RPM's . Thanks for answering my newby questions. It helps!

The slapper cams . Loft or toss the valve off the lobe by design at high rpm .
Thus creating more lift . Spring tension has to be adjusted via length and installed hieght .
The cams all interchange , swaping one stock cam for another , there could be some variation . I doubt anything worth mention.
The slapper cams are listed as fast ramp in the dyno cams catalog .

The standard raptor cam is a stock oem cam, same as any other.
They will interchange, sure, but will not offer any additional performance advantage.
All the flathead cams were broached (not ground) from the factory.
You can easily distinguish between a factor broached cam and an aftermarket ground cam by the finish on the cam lobes.

Aftermarket cam grinders re-grind these cams, or for a while, were using cast, un-broached, cam blanks to be ground.

FWIW, you can have a stock broached cam twisted in a special fixture to change the center lines.
We offer that service if you need.
Depending on your application, I'd suggest something with heavier valve springs and NO floating of the springs.
Now, if it's got to follow WKA rules, then you'll want to take all the precautions in building a proper WKA legal engine; welded lifter bores, chamfered lifter bores, spring pockets machined, ex style springs with proper installed pressures, heat treated lower retainers, etc etc etc.
