Rear Seat bracket question

I have a question regarding the rear seat mounting brackets...
I know the importance of proper seat mounting. (no binding etc.)...
the question I do have is this...is there and recommended or a min max distance/stance between the 2 rear seat mounting brackets, or a min max distance between the center line of the seat to the center line of each rear mounting bracet. And what effects a wider or narrower stance plays in handling if any.... Any input Would be appreciated...I have an 05 phantom phenom...run flat dirt oval between an 1/8th and 1/10th mile...in the Northeast....thanks

are you trying to mount the seat in an unordinary way.
with standard PRC brackets You can't hardly go wrong.
front of seat at or just left of steering post.
right side strut 4-4 1/2 off motor mount .
seat size dictates the exact location.
The angle of the strut could play a roll in how it reacts, IE: straight up and down or leaned forward .

The 2 rear do lean some what forward...I'd say (seated in kart) the left rear strut is leaning forward about 15 degree-ish maybe less and the right rear probably around 30 degree-ish...the reason is the flatness of where the 2 surfaces meet for the bolt through holes in the seat.
