I was wondering if anyone puts rear steer in thier kart ours is a 2011 slack axiom.if you do how you do it so chain wont come off?

As in different wheel base left to right?
It would be all in the right rear .what it is is the right wheel is more forward or backward look up rear steer in a race car you will understand it more it would be like taking the axle and angling it forward or backward or its at zero

its not rear steer, lead and lag is a front end only term, the adjustment you are talking about changes the offset in the kart and the path the rear tires take to the fronts, and how the rr is loaded
Sundog, all oval karts have a longer wheelbase on the right than the left

I guess if you had the perfect rear drift and could keep your front wheels straight it might do something center off?

So do people put lead in karts

yes if the conditions are warranted, lead will exit better, but could be tight entry to apex, lag will help with entry but could produce a push apex to exit.
useful on tight cornered bull rings that produce bite, for larger tracks the standard setting is best

If the right side of the kart has a wheel base greater than the left side, the kart has "lead"
If the right side is less than the left side would be "lag". Moving the LR Forward will loosen the chassis. Moving the LR towards the rear of the kart tightens the chassis.
Adjusting at the RR would be opposite.

Left could've an advantage on a small indoor dirt or even a small bull ring .
Need a smaller driver though . The tires get close too the seat for the big guys .

Ha ha ---Coke Syrup ----Big Driver Little Kart .
Not your common dirt track setup .

When you change the rear axle position . Be sure to resquare \reset toe .
