Looking at the cam . I think if i rotate the exhaust lobe approximately 180 *
It will be close . Of course it will need to be much closer the approx .
But i think that will do it .

Been there done that, bought the tee shirt. Doing a real thumper as I speak. At some point I'll post video. Check out Hamilton Brothers Karting Youtube.

Question - did you cut the shaft and rotate the lobe too the needed position ?
No, you have to grind one from scratch. Stop and think, lobes are running backwards, ramp on wrong side and lobe spread is all wrong. I did on first experimental run drill 1/4 hole thru center of cam, cut lobes off turned them around and indexed them to run backwards, tacked it together and mocked it up in block. Then gave information to cam company to grind one. Lot of other issues to work through. Rod is trying to come through lobes at wrong time. Lobes hit crank. Arc rod dippers angled. When you reverse it hits case and that's just a few of issues.

Thank you .
I have a cure for one problem . Horstman Rod has a straight dipper.
Now 99 other problems to go . Better shelf the idea .
